Hello, the person you love is unavailable, do not try again

“I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

As a single women, dating can not only become a game but also a task. Now, I have learned from my mistakes, but I had to make them to learn. I noticed on twitter that many women were high and mighty about Mary Jane Paul's character on the show Being Mary Jane, but I must say you have to go where the character has gone, in order to understand where she has been. I must admit that I would prefer not to be almost forty with those predicaments, but at the same time, I still take the same stance.

Now I am one that always says that I will never (never say never) knowingly date a married man, however, I have dated a man that was dating someone else. It started off similar to Mary Jane, where he didn't tell me, then after he told me to make a long story short, I continued to date him. Although, it wasn't the same status, it was the same situation. He was attached to someone else. The lesson still remained the same that I was playing in shallow water. I have been cheated on and I have cheated, neither feel good, but I learned the hard way. During that ordeal, I had my heart broken and I passed up on available men because I made myself unavailable with an unavailable man.

To be continued...
